By Isaac Kiir Geka.
Opinion – In the beginning, I would like to remind readers about how Adam and his co-ruler Eve’s rebellion in Eden cost them their kingdom which was God’s intent for them on earth. Chapter 3 of Genesis relates to the sad story of how the human pair fell victim to the lies and deceptions of the serpent, which embodied the prince of darkness, that fallen angel known as Satan or Lucifer. With Adam and Eve’s abdication, Lucifer seized their earthly domain as a brazen, arrogant and illegal pretender to the throne.
Immediately the king of Heaven put in motion His plan to restore what man had lost, and what did man lose? A kingdom! Adam and Eve did not lose a religion because they had never had a religion; they had a kingdom. So, when God set out to restore what they had lost, He set out to restore a kingdom, not a religion. Religion is an invention of man, born of his efforts to find God and restore the kingdom of his own. But only God can restore the kingdom man lost.
After the disaster in Eden, the king confronted His rebellious co-rulers and their deceiver and addressed each one in turn. Of greatest interest to us in this context is what the king said to the serpent, because it has kingdom implications: “I will put enmity between you and woman, your offspring and hers; he will crush your head and you will strike his heel (Genesis 3:15).
To be exact, the term ‘kingdom’ above in the story refers to the SPLM / A-IO as a movement, King of Heaven refers to Dr. Riek Machar Teny who mercifully blessed Taban and Ezekiel Lol with upper hand and an infinite freedom, even freedom to humiliate and victimize with impunity other members of the movement [kingdom]. Adam & Eve refers to Taban and Ezekiel and serpent or Lucifer referring to President Salva Kiir Mayardit who deceived the two co-rulers of the movement to conspire against their very Lord [Machar] whom they suppose to worship, if the guys were not out of sense. What a tragedy!
In the manifestation of wicked, Gen. Taban Deng Gai and Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth in their lack of the leadership characters, grabbiness and naivety which they are known for, were easily deceived by the players of Salvacratice regime in Juba, and have deliberately betrayed Dr. Riek Machar, the very person who blessed them the movement’s leadership domain as role players in the mercy of real loyalists. By their weakness, JCE have managed to seized their political domain of the SPLM / A-IO as callous and brazen of the era. The hotel coup d’etat by Taban and Ezekiel against the people’s leader has actually cost them their political domain of the SPLM / A-IO which they will never restore.
Immediately after the July event Dr. Riek had barely put in motion his plan to restore what the two men (Taban &Lol) had lost, the looting position in the name of IO [kingdom] through the call for “intervention force” to enforce the implementation of the ARCISS, which was the only hope to rescue ARCISS from collapsing. Unfortunately, international community proved the realists argument of “false international institutions” by not responding to such a noble call to save the youngest world nation [Republic of SPLM].
Gen. Taban and Ezekiel Lol lost movement and not dignity, because they had never had a dignity. So, when Dr. Riek set out to restore what they had lost, he would only restore for them a movement and looting position, but not dignity for dignity is a reflection of the good values that lie within a person. To claim IO leadership without Dr. Riek Machar, is a worst kind of fairy tale. Only Dr. Riek Machar can maintain the presence of the IO in Juba.
As the nature of truth determines the fate of South Sudanese later, Dr. Riek [King] will confront the traitors (IO) and their deceivers (Kiir & JCE) to address each one in turn using ‘tit for tat’ technique, and surrender the war criminals and corruption perpetrators to answer the charges for scandals before the court of law.
To conclude with the quote: ” when I despair, I remember all that through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and muderers, for a time, they can seems invincible, but in the end, they always fall.” ~ Gandhi….
