Gaguang community in Australia elect new board

AUSTRALIA – Gaguang Community Association in Australia has elected its new executive members led by the Association’s new President, Mr. Peter Pal Koang, among others.

In their anual meeting held last weekend, the community unanymously elect the following members in their respective position:

1 PETER PAL KOANG PRISIDENT
2 MARTHA NYAWECH RIEK VICE PRISIDENT
3 NYAWAL CHUOL WOMEN AFFAIRS
4 DUOL KUN THIAN GENERAL SECRETARY
5 MARTHA NYAKUETH CHUOL TREASURER

Historically, Gaguang is the youngest son of Khir’s 4 sons; and geographically they are located in the Central Eastern Jikany Nuer Land.

They lives both in Thorow County in South Sudan and Wanthoa in Ethiopia. Due to the Sudanese long civil war that had scattered South Sudanese population all over the world, members of Gaguang Community resettle in Australia from 2000 and formed a Community in 2008
