Juba – The long awaited Transitional Government of National Unity (TGoNU) is expected to be formed today, 28.04.2016 as Kirr’s current cabinets count down their hours in the offices.
The shared TGoNU is the only hope for peace and stability, reforms and transformation which are incorporated in the Agreement known as ARCISS.
In the TGoNU, we have already gotten the President (Kirr), the First Vice President (Machar) and the Vice President (Igga). The rest of the current ministers and the speaker of the parliament will probably call it a game today.
President Kirr will nominate 16 ministers, Machar with 10 and the FPDs and the other Political parties with 2 each.
President Kirr, as usual, will probably decree out his current cabinet and decree in the upcoming cabinet.
It’s not clear whether the nominated and appointed ministers will have to be betted by the parliament as the normal business requires or they will just assume their offices since the expanded parliament is not yet constituted. And remember, the Speaker of the parliament is going to be an Equatorian in accordance with the ARCISS. but who? .. that is what we are yet to know.
