Please accept our sincere congratulation on your swearing-in as the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan. We wish you the best hand and every success in carrying out the important responsibilities ahead of you.
Today South Sudan is facing a lot of challenges as you did mention in your address to the press upon arrival at Juba International Airport and in that regard we would love to ask you to work closely with the other peace partners (The SPLM-IG, FDs and other Political Parties) in the spirit of mutual trust in tackling the challenges like the economic situation in the country that is at the height of collapse, the deteriorating Humanitarian crisis, the security as well as making sure that ceasefire holds in areas of Western Equatoria and Western Bhar el Ghazal.
You served your country well during the liberation struggles, where you showed your commitment to the separation of South Sudan from Sudan and the eventual independence of South Sudan in 2011. This personal dedication and the wealth of political experience that you have gained over the years are the attributes that makes you a political figure that South Sudan needs for her reforms and transformation into a viable state economically and politically. We the Lou Youths commit to always support and work together with you to further develop and intensify the amicable relations between our South Sudan tribes and the transformation of our beloved country through this transitional period and beyond.
Once again Congratulations!!!
Lou Youths Representative, Sirir Gabriel.
