Juba– The armed opposition deputy chairman and deputy comander in chief of SPLA/IO Alfred Ladu Gore has finally touched down in Juba this afternoon, he was received at the airport by senior members of the opposition and senior govt officials.
General Ladu accompanied by more that 50 members of SPLM in opposition.
Arrival of Alfred Ladu in Juba is described as another good step forward in the implementation of the agreement signed by two rival group last year.
The opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar will arrive in Juba next Monday and form the transitional government of national unity (TGONU ) with Salva kiir, according to the statement released last week.
1370 armed personnel from opposition were airlifted by United Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) to Juba as a part of security arrangement stipulated in the ARCISS.
