Kirr registered SPLM party; promised winning elections

Juba – President Kirr, the Chairman of the SPLM, has went ahead registering his fractured party with the South Sudan Political Parties Council ahead of the party’s official reunification.

“We just came to register our name, to register our party and that is all I want to tell you. we are sure that we are going to win the elections” President Kirr told the press during the party registration in Juba.

SPLM is currently in three camps under SPLM-IG led by Kirr himself and of which he registered today (though he did that as the whole party), SPLM-IO and SPLM-FPDs led by Dr. Riek Machar and Pagan Amum respectively.

The party was registered in Sudan in 2010 ahead of the then Sudan election but has never been registered officially in the new state, South Sudan as a political party despite the fact that it’s and it has been the ruling party.
