17 killed in a communal fighting in Warrap State

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]arrap: 17 people are reportedly killed in a fighting that has erupted between Aguok and Apuk communities from Gogrial West and East in Warrap State respectively in a place called Abiokdit on Monday afternoon.

According to our sources, nine (9) people have also been injured from both side during the heavy late afternoon clashes

The conflict between the two neighboring communities occurred in May this year over ownership of a grazing right along river Nyinagoth situated between the two communities of Gogrial West and Gogrial East.

In May, about 18 people were killed in the a week long fighting which marked the beginning of the conflict between the two communities.

Wangdunkon Media is currently investigating the surrounding and external forces which are believed to have been involved indirectly in continuing this communal clashes.
