Malakal– The rebels have taken full control of Malakal town yesterday evening from the govt forces, after a heavy
fight that lasted for four hours, the soldiers are said to be fleeing state capital toward Paloich northern part of Malakal.
Different kind of weapons and ammunition have been seized by the rebels according to the obtained early today by wangdunkon media.
The current eruption of war was triggered by the offensive launched against the rebells by the govt forces when the attached rebels base in southern part of Malakal in canal, the rebel rebels responded in self defense, they dislodged SPLA from Deleip and pursued them upto Malakal town..
Malakal had changed hand several times between the gobt forces and the opposition since the eruption of war mid of December 2013.
Tension remains very in Malut county, northern upper Nile, both essential and non essential staff rendering services to the displaced people in the area have been evacuated from there.
Civilians have fled the town for the anticipation of fight between SPLA / IO and the govt forces.
Peace talks stalled in Addis-Ababa when both parties rejected the new IGAD peace proposal to the crisis in the country.
